Job Title

Sales Executive

Reports To

Manager Sales, Peninsular Malaysia

Role Purpose

Analyze and propose Sales strategies to solicit sales and handle cargo agents under respective coverage.

Key Accountability

  • Market & promote sales of cargo to maintain shipper /agent relationship by regular visits and discussion with agents.
  • Monitor agents and sales performance to ensure contractual sales agreement and commitment are complied.
  • Preparations of Cargo Market rates
  • Evaluate, control agents rate request in line with market.
  • Introduction of new product and services in the market.
Qualification & Experience
  • Degree International business study/ Logistics with 03 years working experience in logistics/airlines
  • SPM/SPMV with 10 years working experience in logistics/airlines
Skills & Knowledge
  • Good communication skills with ability to converse and write well in Bahasa Malaysia & English.
  • Ability to leverage good relationship with customers.
  • Knowledge related to the cargo business/ freight forwarding/ logistics industry.
  • IT literate.
Key Challenges
  • Acquiring accurate market info and condition to offer on the spot decision making in pricing
  • Effective communication to share complex information internally to customers.
  • Timely preparation of reports to management & exco papers for approval.
  • Competition from other carriers.
