Job Summary:-

Responsible for the overall product quality and consistency throughout the hotel.

Responsible for directing, training, supervising, planning, and coordinating of all areas within the Culinary Department, including any projects as requested, working closely with the Executive Chef.

Ensures a high quality of product for our guests and secures profit margins while always maintaining the company\'s image.

Duties:-

  • Ensures day-to-day smooth operations in the entire Pastry Kitchen and outlets, but not limited to controlling quality and quantity of produced items, menu planning, hygiene standard, communicating and training for colleagues.
Requirements:-
  • Diploma/ Degree in Hotel & Food Preparation Management.
  • Minimum 5 years\' experience in either a luxury restaurant or a 5-star hotel background; or similar operation in the position of Executive Pastry Chef and has a proven track record.
  • Approachable personality, positive character and mindset, helpful and trustworthy.
  • Creative, innovative, and open-minded to change.
  • Knowledgeable about HACCP and Food Safety Management System is an advantage.
  • Strong organization skills and time management skills.
  • Preferably Asian experience in deluxe hotel properties with large banquet facilities.
  • Flexible and able to work as per hotel operational needs and requirements.
  • Fluent in English language spoken and written as either first or second language.
