HICOM Automotive, Pekan, Pahang is currently looking for candidate for the position of Executive, Procurement and Vendor Development (PVD). Scope and Authority:
1. To execute the task in Procurement department as per instructed.
2. To liaise with Head of Section if there should be a problem regarding with Procurement department. Job and Responsibility:
1) Issuance of Purchase Order (PO) under normal purchase which includes:
- Process Purchase Requisition (PR) & Prepare Request for Quotation (RFQ).
- Identification of suppliers for quotation submission.
- Negotiation for the best purchase price.
- Execution of approval based on LOA & Issuance of PO. 2) Monitoring of PR and Delivery Instruction (DI) status, which includes:
- Produce ageing report (weekly/monthly).
- Implement planned purchase. 3) Implementation of cost reduction/ saving initiatives which includes:
- Negotiation, benchmarking, getting alternative supplier/ sourcing and cost analysis for purchase activities.
- Obtain a minimum of 5% saving from total spending/each purchase. 4) Execution of tender exercise under CAPEX/ Projects which includes:
- Prepare Tender Document with assistance/ input from users.
- Conduct tender briefing and tender clarification session.
- Issue Tender Document to proposed suppliers/ vendors.
- Open, verify and record tender submission/ bid documents/ commercial proposals.
- Participate in Technical Evaluation process.
- Prepare commercial evaluation and analysis.
- Conduct commercial clarification session.
- Undertake negotiation for the best purchase price in accordance with value of project/ tender.
- Prepare Tender Recommendation Report for submission to the Tender Committee (TC).
- Deliberation of Tender Recommendation Report for approval based on the LOA.
- Assist in preparation of legal documents (where applicable)
- Issuance of Purchase Order 5) Establishment of supplier profile and categorization which includes:
- To resolve matters related to supplier delivery performance with related departments.
6) Compliance with company\'s GPP, LOA and Internal SO
7) Assigned any related job by department from time to time. Specification and Skills :
- Fast learner & able to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interaction skills.
- Good in writing in English & B. Malaysia
- Tactful and resourceful in handling crisis situations
- Analytical thinking and problem solving Qualification and Experience : - Minimum Degree in related field.
- Exposure in Manufacturing / Mechanical, those in Automotive is an added advantage Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM2,300.00 - RM4,000.00 per month Benefits:
