Job Description


POSITION SUMMARY

As a Retail Account Executive, your main role is to manage and nurture relationships with retail clients. This includes understanding their needs and requirement and presenting product offerings.

Your focus will be on maintaining customer satisfaction, analysing sales data, and collaborating with internal teams to meet sales targets and achieve company objectives. Your success in this position will rely on your excellent communication, sales, and relationship-building skills to effectively serve as a liaison between the company and our retail clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory Control

  • Monitor product inventory levels at retail locations and to coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely replenishment
  • Manage sell-in and monitor sell-through to minimize overstock or out-of-stock (OOS) situation and to flag any OOS of any product to manager and marketing team
  • Manage returns on a monthly basis to ensure healthy stock level at stores while ensuring returns don\'t impact the sell in
Retailer Relationship Management
  • Managing and maintaining relationships with retail clients to ensure their needs are met and demonstrates excellent customer service at all time
Key Account Management
  • Responsible to sell in of new launches and all promotional activities i.e., sets, purchase with purchase
  • Initiate, follow-up and work closely with marketing team on the newly launched stocks arrival, stocks allocation and products information
Performance Tracking, Reporting and Communications
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, sell-through rates, and other KPIs at retail locations
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and account activities
  • Communicate with internal teams and management to share progress and challenges
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI)

To be determined by the position\'s reporting manager with the following factors also be taken into consideration as part of the role\'s KPI:

Direct Influence:
  • Healthy inventory level
  • Clients\' satisfaction
Indirect Influence:

Overall sales

Other measures of success but are not limited to:
  • Positive stakeholder feedback - management, peers, visitors
  • All communication reflects company\'s standards
  • All deadlines are met
  • All matters dealt with quickly and professionally
  • All procedures and policies adhered to
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management or equivalent
  • Sound experience in FMCG / beauty / retail / consumer goods industry
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of offline, online and omni marketing concepts preferably in beauty or luxury industry
  • Technical and analytical mindset, comfortable with data analysis
  • Strong verbal and visual presentation skills
  • Good stakeholder engagement skills including cross functional teamwork
