Objective of jobManage a medium-sized, well-defined organizational unit with generally homogenous functionsPrinciple activitiesSupport the strategic planning of the department/unit (Abteilung/Fachbereich) by breaking down or developing the strategic planning for the group, within a short or medium-range time framePlan and administer the budget in his/her area of responsibility, in cooperation with the supervisor, and make sure there is compliance with itCooperate in personnel planning within his/her area of responsibility in cooperation with the supervisor; employ qualified personnelProvide technical and disciplinary leadership to associates that report to him/her; make personnel decisions in cooperation with the HR department and the supervisor (e.g.facility, environmental, safety, security etc.)Break down and prioritize group goals for associatesAct as internal contact (e.g. facility, environmental, safety, security supplier, exercise the authority to issue guidelines, etc.) worldwidePrepare and coordinate the short- and medium-term budget for the area of responsibilityCooperate in planning, design and implementation of local and national tasks/issues (e.g. coordinate work buses, staff canteen, environmental, health and safety, security etc.)Provide advice to management and prepare technical reports (e.g. facility, environmental, safety, security, etc.)Prepare processes/standards/policies (e.g. corporate policies, security/risk management, etc.), if applicable participate in determination and optimization of internal standards and complex processes within his/her own area of expertiseConduct quality checks (service quality and satisfaction), incl. complaint management.Represent the company to government authority\'s for environmental, health, safety, security and facility topics.Responsible to ensure the standards and implementation of the assigned task is according to local law regulations.
