Sourcing FCL Ocean Freight rate from carrier / NVOCC.
Request Ex-work quotation with shipper own appointed forwarding agent or our appointed customs agent .
Fill up DG form based on shipper / oversea office
to carrier check for the DG cargo acceptance.
Attend local customer and oversea office inquiry.
Attend sales team inquiry.
Follow-up quotation status and confirmation with FCL Sales / local customer
/ oversea office.
Coordinate with carrier to check vessel space availability and shipment requirement inquiry.
Provide sailing schedule and request shipment details in order to proceed booking submission.
Submit booking request to carrier or request oversea office proceed booking submission (Import Shipment) and follow up for the booking confirmation release.
Ensure quote / cost and revenue is linked.
Prepare file cover with mention shipment requirement details along with cost and revenue before file pass to documentation colleagues.
-Request ROT with shipper / shipper's haulage team for carrier release CMO and update booking into port system.
-Update truck details to related party once obtain from vendor and keep update for the delivery activities.
-Check empty pick up status with related party and provide container number to carrier for shipment planning purpose.
-Ensure booking number and container number is updated into port system.
-Coordinating with carriers for depot equipment / unit availability or container damage issue arise if any.
-Request shipper provide CPC and LPK certificate for DG cargo and submit to carrier before vessel departure from origin.
-Request shipper provide lashing certificate for special equipment and submit to carrier before vessel departure from origin.
-An official letter by carrier is required if any change on port system.
-Check port system from time to time ensure container laden to port and customs paper under clear status before port closing time.
-Request carrier or vessel planner maintain planning if container unable laden before port closing time.
Coordinate or appealing waiver with carrier for any DND, relevant charges applicable.
