The Finance Manager shall play a crucial role in overseeing all financial activities within the company, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with relevant regulations. As a key member of the management team, the Finance Manager will contribute to strategic decision-making and provide financial insights to support business growth and profitability.Keys Result Area 1. Financial ManagementTask and DutiesPerform financial management duties including generating financial data, P&L, compiling and submitting reports, analysing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.Oversee the operations and development of the company\'s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards.Keys Result Area 2. Cash Flow ManagementTask and DutiesCash Flow Forecasting: The process begins with forecasting future cash inflows and outflows based on historical data, sales projections, expense budgets, and other relevant factors. This allows businesses to anticipate cash shortages or surpluses and plan accordingly.Monitoring Cash Flows: Businesses continuously monitor actual cash inflows and outflows against forecasted amounts. This involves tracking daily transactions, such as sales receipts, payments to suppliers, payroll expenses, loan repayments, and other cash-related activities.Identifying Cash Needs: By comparing forecasted cash flows with actual cash flows, businesses identify periods of potential cash shortages or excess liquidity. This helps in proactively managing cash needs, such as ensuring sufficient funds for payroll, inventory purchases, debt servicing, and other obligations.Keys Result Area 3. Finance Management Process OptimizationTask and DutiesStreamline the Company\'s financial management processes and practices.Standardize finance processes and procedures across departments and locations to promote consistency and efficiency.Document standardized processes in a clear and accessible manner to ensure compliance and facilitate training of personnel.Collaborate with external auditor / financial agency / secretary for audit / any account related matters.Keys Result Area 4. Identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Task and DutiesDefine measurable KPIs to track the performance of finance team. These may include cycle time for financial close, accuracy of financial reports, cost per transaction, and adherence to compliance standards.Establish clear objectives and goals for process optimization, such as reducing processing time, improving data accuracy, enhancing compliance, and lowering costs.Ensure all finance processes and procedures are aligned with the Companys objectives and priorities.Job Requirement and Qualification
1 - Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CA preferred.
2 - Proven experience (5 - 10 years) in Finance or similar role, preferably in the import/export or food distribution industry.
3 - Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
4 - Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
5 - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6 - Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7 - Attention to detail and accuracy.
8 - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
