Company DescriptionWe\xe2\x80\x99re Publicis Experience Production, but our friends call us PXP.We are a future-facing global content and production network, made up of 4,000+ network of Publicis Groupe\xe2\x80\x99s most pioneering thinkers, makers and creators across the world.As a Finance Controller at PXP Studios - Malaysia, you\xe2\x80\x99ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and strategic decision-making of our content production business. You\xe2\x80\x99ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage financial operations, analyze performance metrics, and drive profitability.Financial Operations

• Track financial and non-financial performance of individual projects.
• Prepare Work In Progress (WIP) reports.
• Coordinate and facilitate WIP sessions with stakeholders.
• Maintain and update accounting schedules (e.g., WIP, Accrued Revenue).
• Ensure accuracy of client quotations.
• Coordinate with billing hub and Shared Service Center for timely billing and payments.
• Ensure revenue recognition aligns with company policies.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Collaborate with Studio Lead, Production Leads, and Project Managers to forecast revenue, expenses and cash flow
• Monitor budget performance throughout the fiscal year
• Submit budget and forecast data into the system

Financial Reporting and Compliance

• Prepare financial statements and reporting as per Groupe requirement.
• Update Global and Regional reporting templates.
• Perform month-end closing activities and provide insights/variance analysis/commentaries on the business performance.
• Suggest corrective actions to improve financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist with internal, external, and client audits

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience.
• Strong accounting and financial skills
• Experience in Advertising Production services would be an added value
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and Excel
• Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
