Open Position: Finance Controlling & SOX Specialist (MNC Company)
An MNC Company Malaysia is hiring for Finance Controlling & SOX Specialist to join them in Kuala Lumpur office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Holds a Degree in Accounting/ Finance or professional qualification such as ACCA/ CPA/ CIMA as added advantage
- Assist to manage SOX 404 program including but not limited to managing third-party SOX service provider relationships, maintaining the company\xe2\x80\x99s SOX compliance program to ensure appropriate internal controls over financial reporting and related business processes
- In collaboration with process owners, process managers, and IT owners, ensure proper documentation of all policies and procedures applicable to the key controls of significant processes
- Identify key controls and then develop/update work programs for testing of these key controls
- Interact directly with internal process owners, external auditors, and management to ensure an effective control environment
- Identify, evaluate, document and monitor the remediation of financial control deficiencies
- Coordinate SOX testing both internally with process owners and externally with auditors to ensure compliance
- Actively participate in implementing and launching systems to further automate processes for efficiencies and effectiveness while enhancing internal controls
