Job Description


Position Summary Contribute to shaping the strategic direction of IT in the APAC Region; Evaluate financial impact of strategic choices from both Corporate IT and Regional Business perspectives; Provide financial analysis and guidance on all IT activities, plans and targets; Lead the Financial Planning and Analysis process for IT in APAC, including performance measurement, budget and estimate management, resource allocation, trend analysis and financial analysis.
Roles & Responsibilities Strategy & Planning

  • Partner with APAC IT Leadership team to develop the IT strategy and 3-year long range plan to guide annual investment decisions.
  • Ensure the annual Plan delivers on Corporate IT and Region\xe2\x80\x99s Strategies and Long Range Plans, working across Corporate IT, Regional IT, APAC Leadership and affiliate finance teams.
  • Collaborate with Corporate IT Finance, Regional IT leadership and lead affiliate Finance teams to manage the annual Plan process.

Demand Management & Governance
  • Develop and promote IT project demand management with leadership teams in the regions to optimize resource usage against the organization\xe2\x80\x99s/region\xe2\x80\x99s strategic objectives.
  • Assist management with preparation and business cases reviews for proposed changes to IT investments and monitor benefits realization.
  • Collaborate with Demand Management Team to develop and monitor adherence of project management and IT governance disciplines to ensure project success.
  • Develop financial allocation methodologies for region wide IT developments, ensuring effective communications of the changes and financial impacts to all IT and business stakeholders.
  • Support Business Case and value realization process related to the IT Projects Portfolio.

Business Intelligence and Analytics
  • Ensure consistency of IT financial reporting data across regions to support analytics.
  • Support Finance Advance initiatives, COA simplification and driver-based budgeting efforts as it relates to IT to ensure that transitional and reporting tasks are outsourced / centralized where possible.
  • Drive centralization and simplification of reporting, leveraging internal shared services (OneSource) and existing tools (Power Automate/PowerBI).
  • Provide insight through effective presentation and interpretation of company data.

Business Partnering and Change Management
  • Collaborate with Regional Finance, Affiliate FDs, and Functional leads to provide IT Finance leadership, entailing analysis and guidance on all IT assets, services and resources in region.
  • Partner key external IT support providers, particularly outsourced partners, to manage financial process in region.
  • Partner with IP and APAC IT Operating Management on the execution and financial management of IT related Contracts, SOWs, and services agreements.
  • Provide guidance and ensure compliancy with IT finance and portfolio management procedures; following ITIL processes; US GAAP; and Fixed Asset Polices.
  • Key Finance liaison point between International IT Finance and APAC Finance teams.
  • Ability to understand and effectively articulate complex IT process to business stakeholders in a language that they understand.
  • Use appropriate financial mechanisms to manage and support global and regional IT transformational activities, ensuring effective communications of the changes to all IT and business stakeholders.

Leadership & Line Management Responsibilities
  • Direct line management and facilitate successful development of reports.
  • Key member of APAC IT Leadership Team to provide general operational and decision support to the APAC IT organization.
  • Key member of the APAC Finance Leadership team and work closely with Regional FP&A team to ensure alignment.
  • Provide leadership within Regional and Affiliate teams on all IT Finance matters.
  • Be seen as a key enabling business partner and invaluable source of IT finance expertise. Fully utilize core business processes and business systems to drive operational effectiveness, strengthen controls and mastery of the forecast.


Qualifications
Skills & Requirements
  • At least 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a finance area of a multi-national company.
  • Experience in IT Finance, project planning, project cost accounting and business case compilation would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and matrix environment.
  • Strong financial forecasting, analytical and problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and business advisory skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills including ability to build relationships globally.
  • Degree / Qualification in Accounting.
  • Open for candidates working in other locations including Singapore and HK
