Job Description
POSITION: FITTER
DEPARTMENT: PRODUCTION
REPORTING: FOREMAN/ENGINEER
Key Responsibilities:
Mark, measure, cut, bend, and prepare metal components. Fit and assemble structural components according to drawings and tolerances. Ensure alignment, squareness, and dimensions using appropriate measurement tools. Prepare assemblies for welding and coordinate with welders for final joining. Operate fabrication equipment such as cutting machines, grinding machine, etc. Conduct inspections on fabricated components to verify measurements and tolerances. Identify defects, misalignments, and fabrication issues; report them to supervisors. Ensure finished work meets company and customer specifications. Follow all workplace safety rules and use required PPE (gloves, goggles, helmet, safety shoes). Understand safe operation of cutting, grinding, and drilling equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents.
Education
SPM or equivalent
Experience
1-3 years of experience in metal fabrication, structural fitting, or mechanical fitting. Experience working with steel structures, fabrication assemblies, or heavy fabrication preferred. Good teamwork and communication. Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and quality.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
