Job Description

1. Manage transactions with customers using cash registers (depends on Business unit operation requirement). 2. Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate. 3. Collect payments whether in cash or credit. 4. Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets. 5. Redeem stamps and coupons. 6. Cross-sell products and introduce new ones. 7. Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information. 8. Greet customers when entering or leaving your outlet. 9. Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas especially at wards and cafeteria. 10. Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies Bag, box, or gift-wrap packages. 11. Handle merchandise returns and exchanges. 12. To assess/anticipates meet guest or patient need & respond quickly without losing focus. 13. To ensure that food & beverage are served promptly in accordance with company standard. 14. Communicate in a professional manner with guests, patients, co-workers & management. 15. Must perform physical activities that require moderate strength including lifting, balancing, walking, standing & able to carry trays filled with filled multiple dishes & drinks. 16. To be a good example of the company dress code & appearance standards. 17. To report all faults to the Team Leader, Supervisor or F&B Executive or Operation Manager.
MAS Awana was formerly known as MAS Catering (Sarawak) Sdn. Bhd. It was incorporated on 2nd January 1996 and commenced its operations on 1st July 1996 to cater in-flight meals for Malaysia Airlines flights departing from Kuching. In 2012 MAS Awana expanded its services to cater in-flight meals for MASwings, Malaysia Airlines and foreign carriers at Kota Kinabalu. It then built another Centralized Production Unit (CPU) located at Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi Business Park, Sepang on 1st April 2013 to cater food and beverages for Malaysia Airlines\xe2\x80\x99 Golden Lounges at KLIA. Our company are certified by Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Makanan Selamat Tanggungjawab Industri (MeSTI) and certified HALAL by JAKIM.
SPM / O Level / SKM Level 1 / SKM Level 2 / SKM Level 3 or Equivalent
