Job Title:

Supervisor - Fresh, Frozen, Seafood, Meat & Egg Department

Job Summary:

The Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Fresh, Frozen, Seafood, Meat, and Egg Department. This includes ensuring product freshness and quality, maintaining proper storage and display standards, supervising staff, managing inventory, and delivering excellent customer service. The role requires leadership, attention to detail, and strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise all daily activities in the Fresh, Frozen, Seafood, Meat, and Egg Department. Ensure all products are fresh, properly labeled, and displayed according to company standards. Monitor temperature, storage conditions, and product rotation to maintain quality and safety. Check stock levels regularly and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all work areas, equipment, and storage facilities. Train, guide, and supervise department staff to perform efficiently and safely. Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally. Monitor sales performance and assist in achieving department sales targets. Enforce compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene regulations. Prepare daily or weekly reports on inventory, wastage, and sales.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (certificate or diploma in food handling, retail, or hospitality preferred). Minimum

2-3 years of experience

in supermarket or fresh food department supervision. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and temperature control procedures. Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in cold environments and handle perishable goods. Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,050.00 per month
