The successful candidate will be a key part of the Business Partner team supporting the business growth agenda by ensuring the right information, is with the right stakeholders at the right time. This person will need to be a self-starter with a broad business mindset who can work on their own initiative and as part of a team and acts with drive, determination and resilience and has an innate ability to build strong cross functional relationships and to challenge the status quo.Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with GBS Service Line Leads and Regional Functional Cost Owners to ensure they have an appropriate understanding of their cost performance and associated variances to prior year and budget
• Ensure there is appropriate governance and meeting cadence in place with GBS Service Line Leads and Regional Functional Cost Owners to review cost performance and enable actions to deliver to plan.
• Functional costs validation and reporting, manage month end accounting ensuring where required appropriate accruals and prepayments are put in place.
• Be key point of contact for your GBS Centre on finance enquiries that require root cause analysis and rectification
• For your GBS Center, prepare the Annual Budget and projection, ensuring GBS Service Line Leads and Regional Functional Cost Owners are fully aligned to plan, and relevant Regional Business Units are aware/aligned to budgeted allocations
• Support the Centre in leading progress and performance against the GBS strategy
• Support the Centre and functional leaders in informing, inputting into and steering direction on priorities
• Provide timely analysis of key business performance indicators across our business bringing understanding and insight to variances
• Improve the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance
• Ensure global & regional contracts, where relevant, are financially sound and sustainable by proactively reviewing & evaluating these, identifying risks and promoting opportunities. Support contractual changes ensuring financial implications are appropriately highlighted/evaluated and potential financial benefits are captured
• Support ongoing projects as required
• Master data maintenance

Qualifications, Skills & Personal Competencies:

• Qualified Accountant - ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA - with a combination of experience in Finance & Accounting, such as GL and FP&A (as an example)
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Well-developed interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and meet deadlines
• Resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyses information skillfully
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Knowledge of SAP, AFO, Power BI an advantage
• Team player
