About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated

General Manager, General Affairs & Logistics

to lead and oversee all administrative, logistics, and support operations at our industrial site in

Bintulu, Sarawak

. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, facility management, and logistics efficiency while maintaining high compliance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and direction to the

General Affairs & Logistics Department

. Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures for administration, logistics, and facilities. Oversee transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain coordination. Manage facility operations, including maintenance, safety, and security. Lead and mentor a team across general affairs, administration, and logistics functions. Review and negotiate contracts for vendors, leases, and third-party service providers. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, labor laws, and internal company policies. Organize corporate events, visits, and internal communication activities. Collaborate with senior management to align operational goals with company strategy. Drive efficiency, cost control, and process improvement across departments. Manage budgets, reporting, and KPI tracking for performance and cost management.

Requirements

Minimum

15 years of experience

in General Affairs, Logistics, or Administrative Management. At least

5 years in a senior managerial role

overseeing large teams and complex operations. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field (Master's preferred). Experience in

manufacturing, industrial, or large-scale project environments

. Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In-depth understanding of

ISO, 6S, and TPM

practices.
