Job Description

The client is a prominent provider of Life Science and Analytical products in Malaysia. The company has established a solid network of leading brands, offering comprehensive sales and technical support to customers across academic, industrial, and healthcare sectors nationwide. We are seeking a General Manager to spearhead the business and collaborate with the Regional team to enhance on-the-ground performance.

• Ensure smooth operational transition, including shoring up relationships with customers, principals and employees
• Set strategic direction for the company, establish growth ambitions and evaluate new product opportunities to strengthen and diversify portfolio.
• Set annual targets and goals, drive business performance and build performance culture
• Full financial accountability for the business, including P&L, BS, Cash
• Establish best practices in operations management in all departments
• Work with Everlife regional team on M&A opportunities as required

Highly visible role with autonomy to drive change |Collaborating with a team of industry-leading professionals

• Bachelor\'s Degree or the equivalent, Masters a plus
• Minimum 20 years experience in Life Science / Analytical solutions sector
• P&L responsibility overseeing business of at least MYR40-50Mn, with track record of growing businesses
• Outstanding leadership and organizational skills, leading cross functional teams including back office (logistics, supply chain, finance etc)
• Should have strong influencing skill sets.
• Strong compliance culture
• Hands-on approach with sales rigor and tracking for management reporting
• Should be familiar with digital tools and functionalities
• Excellent business network which can lead to business opportunities
• Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills
• Strategic in thinking, driven and problem solver
