Job Description
- Position: Group Accountant.
- Salary: RM 7000-9000.
- Location: Petaling Jaya (5-day week), Selangor.
Chrisjac Recruitment is assisting our client\'s growing business across three Asean countries to recruit an experienced Group Accountant to manage the listing group of three business entities. Our client is a group of companies principally engaged in supply and distribution of IT components. The position will be based in Petaling Jaya.
Key Responsibilities
The role will entail liaison with regional entities cross three countries.
- Responsible for the monthly management accounts and group consolidation and annual statutory reporting.
- Assist in preparation of half yearly result announcement and annual report.
- Manage group budgeting and forecasts.
- Supervise a team of finance and accounting staff.
Ideally candidate must be a fully qualified senior accounting professional with experience in foreign currency and dealing with multiple entities.
- Malaysian male or female.
- Possess a Bachelor degree in Accounting or professional qualification ACCA.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in listed company environment.
- Group consolidation experience is necessary with strong knowledge of fundamental accounting and taxation.
- Must be proficient in spoken and written English plus conversant in BM and Chinese/Mandarin.
