Job Description

Job Responsibilities: (a) Preparation of consolidated financial statements and ensuring the accounts are prepared in accordance with MFRS and statutory listing requirements. (b) Review inter-company balances, reconciliations, and balance reviews. (c) Review all subsidiaries\' management reports and provide commentary on the financial performance. (d) Required to engage with departments and subsidiaries within the group and provide guidance on finance and accounting matters. (e) In charge of company financial plans and cashflows budget planning. (f) Working closely with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and other statutory bodies to ensure timeline submission and full compliance with regulatory requirements. (g) Ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures and drive to improve internal control processes and procedures. (h) To lead or participate in any ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned. Job Requirements: (a) Must possess a professional qualification in Accountancy or Finance i.e. ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA, or equivalent. (b) Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with a minimum of 3 years in managing group finance, external audit, or commercial experience in a public listed company is highly preferable. (c) Strong knowledge of accountant standards, especially MFRS and tax-related issues (d) Good team player, self-discipline, and possess good communication skill. (e) Possess good strategic, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. (f) Proficient in English, Chinese, and Malay. (g) Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. (h) Experience in using SQL Accounting system would be an added advantage.
