: Job Purpose . CIMB Payment Gateway (PWG) - Online Software developer is responsible to analyzing, developing, testing and supporting application software. PWG system integrates with hetrogeneous systems in Bank having different architecture via middleware. Key Responsibilities . To understand business requirements from functional specifications To understand Interface frameworks (Payment, ESB and API) To understand RGW (Report Gateway) frameworks (Report and extraction) To understand IDD/SDD and Mapping sheet and able to do ESQL coding and IIB/WMB standard nodes To ensure issues/defects are identified, reported, tracked and closed in a timely manner To work with others in the team to follow common coding standards and common service design To perform follow-up with functional team in case of requirements are delayed/pending To do documentation for service design To verify production deployment To regularly update management via established reporting templates for progress updates. Assume responsibility for tasks as directed by supervisors. Ensure compliance to IT standards, SDLC standards, policies and procedures Job Specification . This job requires a Software Developer to act as SME for the projects and BAU projects of Payment System Qualifications (Basic Degree/Diploma etc.): Master\'s or Bachelor Degree Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing requirements: Minimum 10 years\' experience in IT Relevant Work Experience:At least 8 years of experience in payment and middleware solutions Required Competencies and Skills . Competencies/Skills (Essential to succeed in this job) Software development background - JBoss EAP JAVA SE (OpenJDK) Javascript Restful API Spring Perl Database PostgreSQL C/C++ ESQL MQ in Linux platform Possess troubleshooting experience on the technologies listed above Possess online/real time and multi-instance programming experience Understand technical specifications documents - SDD FSD TSD Worked in medium to complex interface projects such as system tech refresh, application upgrade and system/application migration To have hands-on experience in design, development, testing & deployment of API, IBM WAS, IBM ESB systems and/or Payment system Accountable for system stability for all the system managed under Payment and Interfaces Delivery To develop and test reliable & scalable solution in the view of payment gateway initiative which can sustain in longer run To manage escalations, risks and issues related to Online Interfaces Delivery Familiar with ESQL coding and MQ set up. To do POCs to design scalable and reusable architecture
