We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef/Cook who specializes in
Malay and Indian cuisine
. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of traditional recipes, ingredients, and cooking methods, and will be able to deliver authentic flavors with consistency and creativity.
To lead and manage the kitchen team on preparing the required food/items for the restaurant based on reservation covers on daily forecast.
To guide and supervising, coordinating and participating in activities of personnel engaged in preparation, cooking and serving as required.
To ensure the quality and quantity production are met for all occasions.
Encourage and inspire team members to perform at their level best.
To ensure that the Kitchen operation complied with FSMS system, HALAL and always maintain the food cost.
To prepare dishes based on the recipes and methods.
Job Requirement:
Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Culinary arts or similar certification compulsory
5 Year(s) of working experience in Kitchen and preferably those with hotel.
Good communication skills in English and Malay
Energetic and positive thinking
Good physical condition with problem-solving skills
Personality: Good Command, flexible, risk taker & open to travel
Team player, yet autonomous and able to multi-task
Able to work long hours and work under pressure
Able to work on weekend and PH and shifts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
