Description Primary Objective: * Assist the Head, Group Investigations in planning, executing and monitoring of investigation assignments. * Monitor and ensure investigation assignments are completed within the budgeted timeline, manpower reso Description Primary Objective: Assist the Head, Group Investigations in planning, executing and monitoring of investigation assignments. Monitor and ensure investigation assignments are completed within the budgeted timeline, manpower resources and cost allocation. Key Responsibilities: Assist Head, Group Investigations & Insurance Audit to plan, execute and manage investigation assignments on fraud, defalcation and operations lapses reported by the Group. Monitor the progress and status of each investigation assignment to ensure due completion within the budgeted timeline, manpower resources and cost allocation. Review draft investigation reports to ensure all findings with risk and control issues are appropriately addressed with relevant audit recommendations where necessary. Ensure appropriate feedbacks are obtained from the relevant business/support units on recommendation to enhance control procedures. Follow-up to ensure due implementation and resolution of audit recommendations made in the investigation reports. Participate in projects undertaken by the relevant business and support unit on internal control issues highlighted in the investigation findings. Undertake significant investigations as and when directed by FG Heads. Motivate, guide and provide on-the-job training to subordinates and assess their performance. Attend domestic disciplinary inquiries and court actions as witness for cases investigated. Provide guidance and training to staff members. Requirements Requirements: Bachelor Degree - Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business Management or Economics. - ACCA , CPA, ICSA, CIMA, CIA and CFE At least 5 years' experience in investigations and auditing preferably in banking. Strong analytical skills, good interpersonal and communication skills Basic knowledge of internal control principles, banking operations, risk management, credit evaluation, corporate governance and statutory regulations.
