Here\xe2\x80\x99s an opportunity for you to lead the team and be responsible for the organisation\xe2\x80\x99s environmental impact, resources and plans. As the Head of Corporate Sustainability, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
To lead the setup of the department to drive the adoption of sustainability within the organisation in all activities; by formulating, implementing, monitoring, and communicating sustainability initiatives, policies, framework as well as processes.
To focus on taking stock, analysing gaps, and connecting sustainability efforts across the enterprise in the areas of risk management, HSE, Human Capital, Code of Conduct, products and services, IT, and sustainable infrastructure etc.
To provide an advisory role to management and department on sustainable investment-related matters
To complete ESG policy development for both Investment and Enterprise Sustainability sections.
To ensure the integration of ESG considerations and the organisation\xe2\x80\x99s Sustainable Investment Policies into the organisation\xe2\x80\x99s investment decision making processes (note: this is based on our WW Policy)
To lead change management efforts in driving the adoption of sustainability policies and practices, both internally and externally, towards achieving the UN Sustainability Development Goals.
To ensure internal training needs on sustainability are appropriately assessed and programmes are developed and conducted to address different stakeholder groups
To provide thought leadership and policy inputs, both internally and externally, towards greater adoption and awareness of sustainability issues, and representing the organisation on the national stage.
To establish a strong external network of sustainability practitioners, professionals, consultants, government agencies and regulatory bodies.
To explore new investment products to allow members the choice of \xe2\x80\x9dvoting\xe2\x80\x9d with their retirement savings on responsible investment.
Job Requirements:
Malaysian citizen
Possess a Bachelor Degree or Bachelor Degree (Honours) recognised by the Government from any local or foreign higher learning institutions or any equivalent qualification
Obtain a pass in Bahasa Melayu, including oral test in Siijl Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government
At least 10 years of strong experience in Corporate Sustainability or a related field
Proven track record of managing internal and external stakeholders
Strong networking across various industries
Strong analytical problem-solving skills
