Pollen Tech Pte Ltd is seeking a talented Head of Engineering to join our team. We are a private B2B marketplace for buying and selling excess inventory sustainably, helping businesses liquidate overstock and near-expiry inventory, thereby creating a more sustainable world. As Head of Engineering, you will lead a development team and collaborate with other company departments to create innovative solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate is a driven problem-solver who is passionate about reducing waste and creating a more sustainable future. Responsibilities

• Lead the development team to ensure the highest quality application development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine the technical needs and requirements for new product features and enhancements
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, emphasizing clean code architecture and best practices
• Develop and implement strategies for improving software development processes to increase productivity, quality, and efficiency
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve operational processes, automation, and technology
• Stay up-to-date on new technologies and make appropriate recommendations to integrate new and emerging technologies into the Pollen Tech platform
• Ensure compliance with established development standards and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of software development experience with a focus on full-stack web development and architecture
• Experience leading and managing software development teams
• Experience developing enterprise-level web applications
• Experience with agile software development methodologies
• In-depth knowledge of modern web development frameworks, such as React and Angular
• Expertise in SQL and other enterprise-level databases
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms is a plus
