As the Head of Engineering at Staynex, you\'ll be at the forefront of leading our engineering teams into an era of technological excellence and innovation. This role is pivotal in driving the development of our blockchain-powered platform and shaping the future of vacationing. From strategic decision-making to cultivating high-performing teams, you\'ll play a central role in our mission.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire multiple engineering teams, ensuring the delivery of top-notch software products aligned with Staynex\'s vision.
• Develop and enforce best practices for software design, development, testing, and deployment, ensuring exceptional quality and security.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, design teams, and other stakeholders to shape the platform\'s trajectory.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent, fostering their growth and skill development.
• Drive a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous learning within the engineering organization.
• Manage engineering budgets, timelines, and key performance indicators to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master\'s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years\' progressive experience managing and leading engineering teams.
• Proven track record of delivering complex software projects, preferably within the blockchain context.

Preferred Experience

• Strong understanding of blockchain technology and its applications, particularly in tokenization and NFTs.
• An understanding of the payment ecosystem and rails for fiat and crypto.
• Experience scaling and managing engineering teams in developing travel or hospitality platforms.
• Experience with marketplaces and booking engines.
