Recruit, mentor and lead a high performing engineering team, fostering culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Oversees project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budge.
Collaborate with Product Management, Design and other stakeholders to define product requirements and deliver cutting-edge payment solutions.
Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance and testing practices to ensure the highest standards of product quality.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and integrate them into the company\'s technology stack as appropriate.
Develop and manage the engineering budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Act as a key liaison between the engineering team and executive leadership, providing regular updates on project status, technical challenges and strategic initiatives.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor Degree/Master in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
At least 10 years of experience in software engineering with at least 5 years in leadership role within a fast pace tech environment, preferably in payments or fintech industry.
Deep understanding of software development methodologies, architecture, and infrastructure.
Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks.
Proven ability to build, lead and inspire a high-performing engineering team. Strong mentorship and team development skills.
Excellent project management skills with track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovative and practical solutions.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
