As such, we are seeking a talented, driven, and energetic (remote) lead software engineer who can lead our internal development team and help grow our product and is ready to bring Smartbite\'s technology to the next level. : We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in the SaaS industry (Preferably). As the Head of Finance, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy of the company and driving sustainable growth in the dynamic markets of Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore. Responsibilities: Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company\'s overall objectives. Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports to the executive team and stakeholders. Provide insights and analysis on financial performance. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks to ensure the company\'s financial health. Implement effective internal controls and compliance measures. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team across multiple locations. Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the finance department. Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and business development activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including financial institutions and regulatory bodies. Tax and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial reporting requirements in Malaysia, Philippines, and Singapore. Stay informed about changes in financial regulations that may impact the business. Requirements: Degree in accounting / professional qualification in CIMA, ACCA, or related fields. Minimum 8 years in financial accounting and management with at least 3 years of experience in a managerial position. Working knowledge of SAP Financial and Accounting Systems will be an added advantage. Mature, analytical, creative, solution-oriented, and able to work under pressure. Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiating, time management, and leadership skills. Possesses business and social acumen to interact well with key stakeholders and across various business partners. Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations in the SEA region. Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.
