Job Description

Our client is looking for a strategic partner to head their Group HR functions focusing on transforming their talent practice as well as improving their sourcing strategy in accordance to the best ILO standard practice. The successful candidate will provide overall HR leadership to the organization and define the HR strategy of the Company.   • To provide leadership and set the right fundamental, systems, policies, and procedures so that Human Resource function effectively to support the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Understand an organization's business strategy to provide HR insights and solutions to business challenges.
  • Maintain familiarity and compliance with the Industrial Relations Department to prevent litigation and ensure the effective and timely administration.
  • Counsel supervisors on HR policies, procedures, compensation and benefit programs, disciplinary actions, and laws to ensure consistent and fair treatment of all employees.
  • Ensure timely and clear communication within the business unit of HR policies, practices, and initiatives.
  • Manage and lead all employee's engagement & welfare matters, including disciplinary issues, health & wellness programs, administrative matters, etc.
  • Ensure a cohesive working environment in the plant through the adherence of labor-related laws and regulations; and creating a cordial, positive, collaborative working environment through effective team-building activities and employee events.
  • Engage and work in partnership with the Union to achieve harmonious management & union relationship
  • Maintenance and management of the collective bargaining agreement
  • Ensure all controls and compliances are in place and in line with corporate guidelines while adhering to all local country regulations. Proactively establishes policies and procedures to add value to the current system/process.
  • Actively involved in strategic planning, operational decisions, leadership, development, talents development and retention as well as employees' relation and performance management.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of HR policies, methodologies, and guidelines.
  • Diagnose HR needs of internal customers and provide advice on the best approach to managing HR related issues.
  • Standardisation of ILO requirements.

  • Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field
  • Excellent knowledge of all aspects of Human Resources Management exposure working within a manufacturing organization.
  • Detailed knowledge of ILO regulations and operational requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management & business partnering skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to be hands-on when required
Our client is one of the largest medical manufacturing organizations across SEA, exporting their products globally. With a staff strength of over 2,000 people with a mixture of local and foriegn workers. They are currently expanding their organization and is looking for a strong Head of HR to elevate on their HR way of working - complying to various social audit standards (ILO, SMETA and SEDEX).
