Responsibilities Provide expert and strategic legal advice to management on the following areas: Corporate - mergers & acquisitions, corporate loan related matters; Governance - legal policies, SOPs; Innovation - collaboration, partnership arrangement, potential investment in start-ups Accountable and responsible for managing a team of 2 counsels; Advise Head of Legal and management on corporate matters Responsible for the development and implementation of contract templates, policies and training program Coach, supervise, mentor, guide, motivate, manage and evaluate subordinates Requirements Has a Degree in Law with 15 years PQE. Has experience in either of the following: Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Banking, Corporate- companies regulations, Bursa / Security regulations, Commercial Operational Contracts Contract drafting and negotiation skills Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking Ability to anticipate legal issues and risks
