Job Description
DescriptionPrimary Objective:
- Responsible for the review of investment banking documentation and advisory across the RHB Investment Bank group of companies RHBIB Group;
- To review documentation and render advice to the RHBIB Group on matters relating to Retail Securities;
- To review documentation and advise Group Asset Management on their products and services;
- Responsible for rendering legal advice to Group Treasury on their products and documentation, as required by Treasury Legal Counsel and Compliance Support
- Where required, to liaise with the relevant business units/branches and solicitors on litigation against RHBIB Group.
- Key liaison between Group Legal and RHB Investment Bank
- Key liaison for all investment banking legal matters in the group
- Keep abreast with latest developments in law that impacts the RHB Banking Groups investment banking, asset management and retail equities business
- To monitor queries in relation to Related Party Transactions vis-a-vis RHBs obligations as an entity listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad
- Other matters as may be assigned from, time to time by Head Group Legal and/or Head, Group Legal, Secretariat & Governance.
Bachelor Degree - Bachelor degree in law.Min 7 years experience in banking industry
- High performance team player with good leadership and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical, planning and communication skills
