About the Department

The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

Personal Financial Services

We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for developing and implementing credit risk strategies and policies for mortgage portfolio. Lead, manage, and mentor a team of credit risk analysts to ensure the quality and accuracy of credit risk assessments and reports. Work closely with other departments, such as operations, finance, and compliance to ensure that credit risk management practices are aligned with the company\'s overall goals and objectives.

• Develop and implement credit risk strategies and policies for the mortgage portfolio
• Driving Profitable through portfolio segmentation & pricing tests, customer targeting, competitor benchmarking, incentive management and credit tests
• Conduct analysis to identify trends and potential risks in the mortgage portfolio
• Manage and mentor a team of credit risk analysts to ensure the quality and accuracy of credit risk assessments and reports
• Partner with other departments, such as operations, finance, and compliance to ensure that credit risk management practices are aligned with the company\'s overall goals and objectives
• Monitor and report on key credit risk metrics to senior management
• Prepare risk management presentations for senior management that include analytics on expected portfolio performance and areas of potential risk and/or opportunity Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
• Appropriately assess risk by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in credit / risk management or equivalent training and experience preferably mortgage industry
• In-depth knowledge of mortgage credit risk management practices and regulations
• Proven ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goals
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize and prioritize
• Proven ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational and analytic skills
