Sustainability factors increasingly drive the agenda, both in business, in society, and across Allianz Group. This requires a strategic approach to ensure we fully integrate sustainability into Allianz\xe2\x80\x99s activities as a financial institution and as an organisation and to be a shaper of sustainability. This role you\'ll report to the Chief Executive Officer.


Key Responsibilities

• Sustainability strategy development, execution, and steering
• Integration of ESG considerations into business and operations, and collaboration across various business functions to achieve environmental/sustainability targets
• Managing sustainability disclosure and implementation of internal and regulatory sustainability reporting requirements
• Driving awareness and capacity-building on sustainability topics and remaining up to date with latest developments

Key Requirements

• Degree in environmental, sustainable development or related field of study
• 5+ years of experience in Sustainability Management/ Risk/ Compliance in Insurance or Investment in the financial industry
• Strong understanding of principles of ESG integration, ESG risk management, sustainable insurance solutions, sustainability reporting, and data collection
• Passion for identifying and driving sustainability-led business opportunities.
• Experience in team leadership
• On top of current and upcoming developments and market trends regarding sustainability, climate, decarbonisation and social impact
• Excellent verbal, written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills to interface and influence all levels of stakeholders (internal/external)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, such as MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Teams, and MS Word
