Head, Operations Planning and Support

Reports To

Director of Flight Operations

Role Purpose

Optimise Crew Utilisation while ensuring that the crew composition of all flights and all associated costs are in accordance to regulatory requirements and in support of the group strategic focus in terms of on-time performance, customer experience, people and profitability, maintaining regulatory training records for crew and regulated ground personnel within Flight Operations in accordance to the regulations, provide administrative support to Flight Operations and Airline Security Department and monitor Flight Operations Financial Performance and Corporate related projects assigned to Flight Operations.

Key Accountability * Develop and formulate pilots/cabin crew/shift staff manpower planning strategies and policies while providing guidance on the implementations to achieve the following:

• support the schedules and network requirements
• achieve the on-time-departure objectives
• support the given service standards
• operate within the established regulatory and safety standards
• maintain industrial harmony\'s objectives
• optimise resource utilisation in terms of headcount and variable costs.
• Develop and formulate policies and provide guidance on processes and implementations in ensuring the regulatory training records for pilots, cabin crew and regulated ground personnel within Flight Operations are kept updated efficiently in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and formulate policies and provide guidance on processes and implementations to improve efficiencies in Workforce Planning and Staff Services departments and to comply with company and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and control Flight Operations budget in terms of OPEX, CAPEX and Projects and to provide guidance on initiatives developed to ensure all costs are within the approved budgets or targets set by the Company.
• Control and monitor Flight Operations projects to be in line with the company\'s direction and are implemented within the timelines.
• Provide leadership to a team with diverse functions.

• Degree
• 10 years

• Experience in the related field of operation, finance, project management, contract management and data analytics for decision making. Experience in aviation industry preferred.
