Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Railway Operations, Transportation, Logistics, or Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in railway or transport operations, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Proven leadership in managing large-scale transport or logistics operations.
• Strong understanding of rail regulations, safety frameworks, and operational planning.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Experience in a start-up or transition-to-operations environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall train operations for both passenger and freight services to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient performance.
• Develop operational strategies, timetables, and resource plans to meet service and commercial objectives.
• Ensure full compliance with APAD regulations, safety standards, and company operational policies.
• Oversee service quality, train punctuality, and customer satisfaction for passenger and freight operations.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, Safety, and IT divisions to optimize service delivery.
• Monitor financial performance, cost efficiency, and operational KPIs.
• Lead workforce development, crew competency, and operational discipline across stations and terminals.
• Integrate safety and service compliance as a non-negotiable component of all railway operations and performance management.
