Own and operationalize Product Management Lifecycle (PML) Policy
Serve as consultation focal to Product Owners in regard to product proposal requirement criteria
Monitor product proposal submission process performed by Product Owners, and report any exception or deviation from PML Policy to Management Product Approval Committee (MPAC) and MPPC i.e., incomplete product proposal documentations, overdue product reviews
Undertake administrative and secretarial functions to support MPAC/MPPC and Group Risk & Compliance Committee (GRCC), including committee meeting facilitation
Monitor status of product launches i.e., adherence to product approval validity period, and communicate launch postponement requests by Product Owners to MPAC
Remind Product Owners to complete post launch product reviews in a timely manner i.e., post implementation and periodic reviews
Policies & Procedures
Oversee the governance and implementation of Group Policy Management Framework (GPMF) across CIMB Group and entities (including subsidiaries and overseas branches).
Advisory role for stakeholders on the submission process for proposals/notifications to MPPC.
Maintain updated Policies and Procedures Register for the Group and/or via the local policies and procedures custodian.
Advisory role on governance of policies and procedures.
Requirement
Bachelor's or Master's Degree or Professional Qualification in the relevant discipline
A minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience. A minimum of 5 years of prior experience in managing a team.
Understand the Group's business model and strategic objectives.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Proven managerial leadership and business acumen with outstanding reputation and business network.
Good understanding of the financial services industry
Good set of strategic and operations problem solving skill
Solid base of financial analysis capability
Ability to manage relationships across different entities and regions (e.g. divisions, departments, etc.)
Build strong culture of service excellence and growth opportunities for the organisational unit to attract and retain top talents.
Ability to influence and motivate others.
Good interpersonal skills especially in managing differing viewpoints and objectives of internal stakeholders
Good presentation and influencing skills and ability to motivate others, in guiding and assisting teams in putting forward proposals/recommendations
