Lead and drive the development as well as the continuous improvement of the group System Design & Enterprise Architecture in ensuring a clear and inclusive enterprise architecture plan that align to ICT strategy which will improve the efficiency and reliability of business information and optimally support business growth and operational needs.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
SYSTEM DESIGN & ARCHITECTURE
Defining the technology solution and environment roadmaps to ensure capacity and scalability, as demand and usage evolve within the business. This will be obtained through having visibility and understanding of the entire technology landscape.
Oversee adherence to the architecture strategy, principles and framework throughout ICT.
Identifying, assessing and communicating risks related to the technology roadmap.
Ensuring that systems are architected to be secure and resilient through the effective application of security and business continuity principles.
Leading the definition and validation of architecture principles and standards.
Defining a full Technical Architectural Roadmap.
Keeping up to date of Architecture, IT Strategy and technology innovation best practices and trends.
STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT
Customer Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong partnerships with the business and application owners and other IT managers. Work with business management to identify and prioritize application support needs, issues and development projects.
Working with technology partners to ensure the implementation of the roadmaps and standards
Communicating architecture and IT standards to all stakeholders and ensure standards are published, updated and adhered to.
Liaising with key IT partners to quantify and communicate the impacts, trade-offs, risks, costs, benefits and opportunities of IT solutions from architecture perspective.
POLICIES AND STANDARDS
Assist in the review and evaluation of existing ICT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective implementation of Group ICT Project initiatives and projects.
Enforce the existing ICT policies and procedure to meet Group ICT security compliance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 15 years of experience in the ICT industry.
Advanced level technical certifications or equivalent (TOGAF, Microsoft Certified Architect).
Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
Experience with enterprise technologies supporting HR, Finance and Accounting, and/or other areas within maritime industry.
