The Housekeeping Supervisor (Public Area) is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation of all public areas within the hotel. This role ensures that the hotel's high standards of hygiene and appearance are consistently maintained to create a luxurious and welcoming environment for guests and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Public Area Attendants.
Inspect lobbies, restrooms, corridors, and other public spaces to ensure they are clean, well-maintained, and meet brand standards.
Monitor and ensure proper use of cleaning materials, tools, and machinery.
Train and coach team members on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and guest interaction standards.
Handle guest feedback and requests related to public area cleanliness professionally and promptly.
Manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and request replenishment when necessary.
Collaborate with the Engineering team to report and follow up on maintenance issues.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a similar role within a hotel environment.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks.
Good communication skills and a pleasant personality.
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
