Job Description

Role Summary



The HR & Administration Manager is responsible for leading and managing the full spectrum of Human Resources and Administrative functions at Welding Alloys (Far East) Sdn. Bhd. This includes HR strategy, recruitment, payroll, compliance, training and development, expatriate management, and all administrative matters such as LMW, ATS, customs liaison, and licensing. The position plays a key role in aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, ensuring legal compliance, and maintaining a productive and positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities



1. Human Resources Management

l

Develop and implement HR strategies and policies aligned with company and Group objectives.l Oversee full-spectrum HR functions including manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and payroll. Ensure compliance with the Malaysian Employment Act and related statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF). Manage disciplinary, grievance, and counselling processes professionally. Conduct and manage annual performance appraisals, promotions, and succession planning. Review compensation and benefits structure to remain competitive within the industry. Administer employee engagement, welfare, and recognition programs.

2. Training & Development

Conduct training needs analysis and develop the annual training plan and budget. Manage HRDF-related submissions, claims, and compliance. Implement training and competency frameworks to support employee growth and retention. Manage HR & Training aspects under ISO 9001 certification.

3. Administration Management



Oversee office administration, facility management, housekeeping, and safety arrangements. Manage the renewal and compliance of all company licenses and permits (MBJB, KPDN, JKKP, DOE, DOSH, Fire Certificate, insurance, etc.). Ensure effective management of company assets, vehicles, insurance, and inventories. Coordinate travel, events, and logistics, including company annual dinners, trips, and team-building activities. Supervise administrative staff and ensure efficient filing and documentation systems.

4. Expatriate & Immigration Management



Manage expatriate work permits, professional visit passes, and business visa applications across various countries. Liaise with Immigration Department, Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN), and related government agencies. Ensure timely renewals and compliance with immigration regulations for expatriate staff and visitors.

5. Compliance, Reporting & Coordination



Maintain compliance with statutory requirements and government agencies (Labour Office, Immigration, HRDF, DOE, DOSH, Fire & Rescue, SSM, etc.). Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and government officials as required. Prepare and present HR reports, manpower statistics, and analytics to management. Ensure all company policies, procedures, and standards align with Welding Alloys Group policies.

6.

Leadership & Strategic Support



Partner with management to support organizational development and change management initiatives. Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Lead by example in demonstrating integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
