Role Overview



A well-established precision machining and assembly company based in Batu Kawan, Penang is seeking an experienced

HR Manager

to lead the full HR spectrum, from recruitment, performance management, and compensation to employee relations and compliance. This role will work closely with senior management to align HR strategy with business objectives and foster a positive, high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities



Recruitment & Staffing



Develop and implement effective recruitment and onboarding strategies. Manage end-to-end hiring processes in line with workforce planning needs.

Employee & Industrial Relations



Act as the main point of contact for employee issues and disciplinary matters. Promote a positive workplace culture and ensure compliance with labor laws.

Performance Management



Oversee the performance appraisal process and KPI setting. Support initiatives to improve employee engagement and productivity.

Training & Development



Identify training needs and manage employee development programs. Evaluate training effectiveness and promote continuous learning.

Compensation & Benefits



Manage payroll, statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS), and benefits. Conduct salary benchmarking and recommend improvements to reward structures.

Policy & Compliance



Review and update HR policies to ensure legal compliance and organizational consistency. Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and reports.

Strategic HR Planning



Partner with management to align HR strategy with organizational goals. Provide HR insights, metrics, and workforce planning support.

Requirements



Bachelor's or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree is an advantage). 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2-3 years in a managerial role. Strong understanding of Malaysian labor law and HR best practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Experience managing foreign workers is an advantage. Able to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Salary Range:

RM6,000 - RM8,000

Allowance:

Transport (Car: RM250 / Motor: RM150 after 2 years)

Leave Entitlement:

1-2 years: 13 days 3-4 years: 17 days 5 years: 20 days
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
