Job Description


Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Oversee the full cycle of recruitment including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the dealership.
  • Collaborate with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Employee Relations:
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and programs.
  • Conduct investigations and resolve conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
Compliance and Record Keeping:
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain employee records and documentation in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies.
Performance Management:
  • Develop and implement performance appraisal systems and processes.
  • Assist managers in setting goals and objectives for their teams.
  • Provide guidance and support for performance improvement plans.
Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Develop and implement onboarding and continuous education programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Administer payroll and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation packages.
  • Communicate benefits information to employees and assist with benefits-related inquiries.
Policy Development and Implementation:
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure consistent application of policies across the dealership.
  • Provide guidance and training to managers on HR policies and procedures.
Strategic HR Planning:
  • Partner with the senior leadership team to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends and develop strategic initiatives.
  • Lead HR projects and initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in an automotive dealership or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
