. This role is responsible for managing the full spectrum of Human Resources functions, supporting business objectives, and ensuring compliance with Malaysian labour laws. The HR Manager will work closely with management to build a positive workplace culture and support organisational growth.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full HR lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices
Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws, regulations, and statutory requirements
Advise management and employees on HR matters, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling
Oversee payroll coordination, benefits administration, and leave management
Lead and support learning, training, and employee development initiatives
Drive performance management processes and support succession planning
Promote employee engagement, culture, and retention strategies
Prepare HR reports, manpower planning, and workforce analytics
Handle audits and liaise with external authorities when required
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum
5-7 years of HR experience
, with at least
2-3 years in a managerial role
Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR best practices
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
HR professional certification (e.g. SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent)
Experience managing HR operations in a growing or multi-site organisation
