Job Overview
As the HR Manager, you will play a key role in driving the agency's recruitment, training, and talent development initiatives. You will not only oversee people strategy but also take up the insurance licence to understand the business, receive commissions, and eventually lead your own PRUVenture (PV) team.
This is not a traditional HR role -- it's a leadership pathway blending human capital management with entrepreneurship.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Development
Plan, execute, and manage recruitment campaigns (both online and offline).
Identify high-potential candidates for agent and leadership roles.
Conduct interviews, onboarding, and culture-fit assessments.
Training & Coaching
Coordinate and facilitate internal training programs, workshops, and performance reviews.
Monitor agent progress and learning outcomes.
Support team leaders in developing new agents into productive performers.
Agency Operations & Insights
Track recruitment trends and performance data to identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with leadership to implement retention and engagement strategies.
Analyze agent activity trends and recommend targeted solutions.
Licensing & Personal Development
Obtain the Prudential Insurance Licence and actively participate as a registered agent.
Experience sales and client-advisory processes firsthand to understand the agency's operations.
Qualify for the PRUVenture (PV) program -- a fast-track leadership scheme with income potential.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Psychology, or related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of HR, recruitment, or training experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong sense of initiative, integrity, and leadership potential.
Willingness to pursue an insurance agent licence and build a career in financial services.
