We are looking for an HR Officer (IR/ER) to support our Human Resources department in managing disciplinary matters, employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with labour laws. The ideal candidate is proactive, organised, and able to handle sensitive matters with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Handle disciplinary matters including investigations, issuing show cause letters, and coordinating Domestic Inquiry (DI).
Manage employee grievances and provide timely follow-up to resolve workplace issues.
Ensure all IR/ER processes comply with Malaysia labour laws and company policies.
Liaise with government agencies (JTK, PERKESO, EPF) when necessary.
Support employee engagement activities and initiatives.
Monitor workplace morale and report ER findings to management.
Maintain accurate documentation for IR/ER cases and HR records.
Prepare monthly HR reports related to industrial and employee relations.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in IR/ER or similar HR roles.
Good understanding of Malaysia Employment Act and Industrial Relations Act.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to handle confidential matters with integrity.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
