- Position: Import Freight Documentation Officer.
- Salary: 2500-3500.
- Job location: Kelana Jaya,SS7,Petaling Jaya.
Our client is an established international freight forwarder in Malaysia. They are currently seeking to recruit suitable logistics personnel for their import department in Petaling Jaya.
THE JOB
This is coordination role involving liaising with customers for all functions relating to shipping logistics operations. You will be responsible for managing import sea freight shipments from start to finish. Dealing with overseas agents,collating shipping documentation,completing Customs entries.
- Process all Sea Freight import documentation with agreed time frames.
- Ensure all necessary documents are received from overseas offices to enable import shipments and Customs clearances to take place.
- Notify customers of cargo and arrival details.
- Female preferred in age group 26-35.
- Possess at least a Diploma qualification in any field.
- Ideally with at least 2 years of freight/logistics experience and familiar with shipping documentation such as Bill of Lading.
- Excellent communication skills,verbal and written.
- Accurate data entry skills and attention to details.
- Ability to exhibit flexibility in work practices.
