The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives for Coffeebot's coffee vending machines and related machinery. This role focuses on optimizing machine performance, reliability, and efficiency through engineering solutions, process improvements, and innovative design enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background (Mechatronic, Mechanical, Electronic, or related field) with hands-on experience in machinery improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze, design, and implement continuous improvement projects for coffee vending machines and related systems.
Identify machine performance gaps, propose solutions, and implement modifications to improve reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with R&D, Technical, and Service teams to develop engineering solutions for new and existing machines.
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring technical issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Optimize machine layout, parts usage, and processes to reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.
Develop engineering documentation, technical reports, and improvement proposals for management review.
Research and introduce new technologies, tools, or methods to enhance machine automation and productivity.
Provide technical support and training to technicians and operators on improved processes or upgraded machines.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies in all engineering improvements.
To assist on any other ad-hoc assignments
Requirement
Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Machinery Engineering or any related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in industrial engineering, machinery optimization, or continuous improvement roles.
Strong knowledge of machine design, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
Hands-on experience with mechanical and electronic systems in automated machinery (preferably vending machines, F&B equipment, or similar).
Proficient in problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
Strong analytical thinking, innovative mindset, and results-driven approach.
