Develops and applies computer aided design (CAD) software engineering methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of technical problems. Assessing architecture and hardware limitations, plans technical projects in the design and development of design infrastructure software/solution. Defines and selects new approaches and implementation of software engineering applications and design specifications and parameters. Develops routines and utility programs. Prepares design specifications, analysis and recommendations for presentation and approval. May specify materials, equipment and supplies required for completion of projects and may evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services. Owns the end to end delivery pipeline, including source code management, versioning/tagging strategy, software regression, release staging, acceptance and/or indicators, artifact storage and distribution, and disaster recovery planning. Identifies opportunities and implements solutions for increased automation, reliability, and/or velocity within the pipeline through implementation of robust infrastructure telemetry, KPIs, and indicators, and by monitoring and applying industry best practices. Involves in AI/ML solutions development to improve the engineering productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications
- BSCS/MSCS or equivalent with minimum of 1-2 year experience in computing infrastructure or Design Automation. - Basic knowledge in design compute environment/storage management and web development would be an added advantage. - Basic knowledge in artificial intelligence and machine learning would be an added advantage. - Good programming knowledge in Perl, Python, Bash, C-shell and other software languages is an added advantage. - Passionate in codes writing and scripts development. - Strong interpersonal skills and good verbal/written communication skills are required.
