Job Description


:

Provide a professional, efficient and approachable security services and maintaining a high level of customer service to staffs and visitors at all time as a Head of Auxiliary Police Unit.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To manage and direct the overall performance of the Auxiliary Police (AP) team for Head Offices Security Response Unit and Centralised Remote Monitoring System (CRMS).
  • To ensure physical security services provided at CIMB premises are carried out in accordance to the Procedure, Rules and Guidelines set by CIMB and all prevailing Guidelines imposed by Government / statutory bodies and enforcement agencies.
  • Implement the right strategy on the appropriate care and handling of firearms which include Carry and Use (C&U) license application.
  • Provides security support at Group Level for major events, meetings and VIP visits.
  • Implementation of AP\'s SOP as outlined by the management.
  • To ensure all outsourced security personnel strictly adhere to the compliance and performance requirements outlined in the Professional Service Agreement.
  • To manage guarding service providers engaged by CIMB which includes providing recommendation to the management for new appointment and/or termination.
  • Apply appropriate actions to solve issues and provide effective course of actions.
  • Assess and escalate issues to the Management.
  • Responsible for the conduct of APs, making sure that each personnel understands their obligations.
  • Controlling budgets for AP operations and monitor expenses.
  • Prepare reports on security incidents and breaches.
  • To coordinate support on the emergency disaster relief, committee set by CIMB in context of Security Services.
  • To manage and direct the overall performance of the Auxiliary Police (AP) team assigned at Branches.
  • Propose SOP enhncement by strategically improving current security controls, conduct ample studies of present and anticipated threats.
  • To oversee and keep Business Units notified of latest information, best practices, guidelines, conditions and instructions as may be issued by Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN) and Police Diraja Malaysia (PDRM).
  • Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses and craft reports on all aspects of AP operations and outsourced security personnel.
  • Lead internal security incidents investigation and produce report as and when required.
  • Build rapport with the PDRM, KDN and other law enforcement bodies in soliciting the necessary cooperation/assistance in resolving security issues and/or crime prevention measures for the Group.
  • Responsible on matters relating to Group P&P, Management Committees which covers the following aspects :-
  • Group Operational Risk.
  • Group Procurement Policy.
  • BIA (Business Impact Analysis).
  • RCSA (Risk and Control Self-Assessment).
  • CIM (Control Issue Management).
  • KRI (Key Risk Indicator).
  • LED (Operational Event & Loss Data Management).
  • BCM (Business Continuity Management).
  • Due Diligence.
  • Risk Assessment.
  • Manage, guide and provide the necessary coaching for the team members to allow them to effectively perform their jobs as per Group\'s policies and procedures.
  • Develop, build and leads an effective and cohesive team that operates seamlessly to achieve departmental goals.
  • Proactively identify, manage and propose effective end to end solutions to issues related to services delivery.
Job Requirements:
  • Any degree/diploma in related fields.
  • Possesses Police basic training (PULAPOL) certificate.
  • Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience in physical security industries.
  • Efficient and effective managerial experience and skill in managing a team.
  • Good networking skills, confident, proactive and results oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills. Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Computer skills e.g Microsoft Power point, Office, Excel etc.
  • Able to communicate and interact effectively with customers and staff at all levels.
  • Strong leadership, self motivated, able to work independently and with very minimum supervision.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to deal with authorities, business units and management effectively and efficiently.
  • Able to analyse emergency situation and advise management accordingly.
  • Willing to work beyond working hours based on the prevailing operational needs.
