About the role As the Manager of Instructor Excellence, you will play a pivotal role in strategically leading and overseeing the training operations and instructor team. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in training, learning and development, coupled with exceptional managerial and leadership skills. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the strategic vision of the Instructor Excellence Division, driving the growth and success of the team, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional training programs that align with the organisation\'s goals and client needs. Your key responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for the Instructor Excellence Division, outlining short-term and long-term goals, resource allocation, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives Lead and manage a team of instructors, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to enhance their teaching and training capabilities Collaborate closely with the Business Development and Learning Design teams to align training programs with client requirements and market trends, ensuring that offerings remain innovative and impactful Oversee instructor scheduling, assignments, and program delivery to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high quality and client satisfaction Drive the recruitment, selection, and development of a diverse pool of skilled instructors, ensuring that the team is equipped to meet the demands of various training programs Utilise data analytics and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of training programs, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes Provide strategic input to instructors regarding program design, content development, and delivery methodologies to enhance overall learning outcomes Foster relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and industry partners to stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in training and development Champion a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the Instructor Excellence Division, encouraging experimentation and adaptation of new teaching methodologies and technologies Act as a representative of the division in meetings, presentations, and client interactions, showcasing the strategic value and impact of the training programs Develop and manage budgets, allocate resources, and track expenses related to training operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial sustainability The ideal candidate Holds at least a Bachelor\'s Degree in Education, Management, Human Resources, or a related field Has minimum 5 years of progressive experience in training, learning and development, adult education, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role Proven track record of strategic planning, team leadership, and driving operational excellence Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to leverage data insights to optimise training programs Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, resolve conflicts, and navigate challenging situations Proficiency in learning management systems and technology-enabled teaching tools Innovative mindset with a commitment to staying updated with industry trends and incorporating best practices into training strategies Strong business acumen and the ability to align training initiatives with organisational goals and market demands Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of instructors Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adaptable to change Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach Proven ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams Flexible to work outside regular business hours, including weekends, as required by project demands If you believe you possess the qualifications, experience, and passion to lead a dynamic team of instructors and drive excellence in training programs, apply with us now !
