Job Description

Agroz Group is a Malaysian Agritech company specializing in indoor vertical farming--designing, building, operating, and selling controlled-environment agriculture farms, as well as growing and distributing fresh produce locally. We integrate with technology (software, AI, IoT), sustainability (soil-free, water-efficient, pesticide-free), and education/awareness (urban farm in a mall) to disrupt traditional farming models and enhance food security, local freshness, and supply-chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in indoor farm R&D activities related to crop trials, varietal testing, and cultivation optimisation Support daily monitoring of plant growth, crop health, and indoor environmental parameters (e.g. temperature, humidity, lighting, nutrients) Record observations, experimental data, and trial results accurately and consistently Assist in setting up, maintaining, and monitoring R&D trials within controlled environment systems Support implementation and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for indoor farm trials Assist in data collection related to hydroponic systems, nutrient solutions, irrigation cycles, and lighting schedules Coordinate with indoor farm operations teams to ensure proper documentation of R&D activities Assist in preparing basic reports, logs, and summaries for internal review Support organisation and upkeep of R&D tools, materials, and documentation within the indoor farm Adhere strictly to farm safety, hygiene, and biosecurity standards at all times

Requirements / Preferred Skills:

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plant Science, Biotechnology, Food Science, or a related field Strong interest in indoor farming, controlled-environment agriculture, or agritech innovation Good attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate and structured records Comfortable working in an indoor farm environment and following strict SOPs Basic understanding of hydroponics, plant nutrition, or data recording is an advantage Willingness to learn, hands-on, and able to work well within a team Positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility
