Job Description

(a) General Litigation Junior Lawyer \xc2\xb7 Candidate must have minimum of 1-year experience in dealing with civil litigation matters. \xc2\xb7 Sound understanding on Civil Procedure and related laws. \xc2\xb7 Able to conduct thorough and meticulous research on related matters. \xc2\xb7 Drafting letters, legal opinions, pleadings, cause papers and submissions within short deadlines with minimal supervision. \xc2\xb7 Familiar with EFS system (including e-filing of cause papers and conducting e-reviews) as well as attending to and/or assisting with Hearings, Trials and Appeals. (b) Conveyancing Junior Lawyer \xc2\xb7 Candidate must have minimum of 1-year experience in handling SPA and loan documentation for sub-sale, drafting of agreements and all other general conveyancing matters. \xc2\xb7 Responsible, dedicated, detail-oriented in work. \xc2\xb7 Able to handle bank portals including but not limited to Maybank, Public Bank, CIMB Bank, RHB Bank, etc. \xc2\xb7 Able to work independently. - Able to monitor and follow up closely with all the files assigned. \xc2\xb7 Able to liaise with clients, bankers, agents, developers and government bodies. (c) Conveyancing Clerk \xc2\xb7 SPM and above. \xc2\xb7 Prefer candidates with at least one year of experience in conveyancing matters. \xc2\xb7 Candidates without experience are welcome to apply. \xc2\xb7 Training will be provided. \xc2\xb7 Hardworking, responsible, good attitude, efficient and detail-oriented in work. \xc2\xb7 Able to take and follow instructions from lawyers and work with minimal supervision. (d) Chambering Student (General Litigation and Conveyancing) \xc2\xb7 Hardworking, responsible, good attitude and detail-oriented in work. \xc2\xb7 prefer an open-minded candidate to have exposure in all areas of law. \xc2\xb7 Training will be provided in different areas of law, including conveyancing, general litigation, estate administration, divorce and family law. \xc2\xb7 Candidates can expect great opportunities for learning and exposure and close guidance from Senior Lawyers and Partners. (e) Internship Student \xc2\xb7 Minimum Internship Period: two (2) months. \xc2\xb7 Hardworking, responsible, good attitude and detail-oriented in work. \xc2\xb7 Prefer candidate that is open minded to have exposure in all areas of law. \xc2\xb7 Training will be provided in different areas of law including conveyancing, corporate, general litigation, estate administration, divorce, family law and etc. Candidate can expect to have great opportunities of learning and exposure.
