Why does this job exist and why is it critical?

1. Perform daily warehousing operation multi-tasking activities (Goods Receipt, Pick & Pack, Goods Issuance & Returns) in accordance to established SOP to achieve high accuracy of work and to achieve operations efficiency to meet Department operations KPIs of GR-36hrs; GI-36hrs & Return-24hrs to support Network Engineering's sites roll out plan. These includes but not limited to the following:

Incoming operation- Goods Receipt and Return - All relevant documents are intact and correct checking method is applied when conducting 100% check of physical materials received upon offloading to ensure received material and quantity is correct per purchase order and condition/packaging of material is proper prior to system transaction. Manage delivery scheduling, material packaging and labeling issues when required. Ensure storage space is managed effectively with consistent monitoring & timely material arrangement to ensure sufficient storage space.

Outgoing operation- Pick & Pack. Materials are picked per request/document (correct material, quantity and plant) to ensure timely sites roll out.

Outgoing operation -Goods Issue(GI) - Issuance is as per GI document and to the authorized contractor appointed by stakeholder. Ensure GI document is acknowledged by relevant parties and submit original copy of GI document timely for filing/record keeping.

Ensure all auditable stock management documents are filed/ accessible and archived accordingly for reference and audit trail.

Liaise with related internal and external stakeholders on operational matters/issues and ensure timely/correct resolution

2. Operate Forklift, Reach Truck. Order Picker and handle the warehousing tools/equipment safely at all times to prevent damages to stock materials, building property and injury to human.

3. Perform daily/regular warehouse maintenance activities to maintain a clean and safe working environment and ensure safe storage of materials to prevent safety issues and ensure operations activities are performed efficiently.

Perform daily housekeeping to upkeep cleanliness of warehouse

Perform material arrangement/labelling at warehouse storage locations (floor/racks) to ensure it is safely arranged and is as per SAP/WMS system.

Perform daily inspection of working tools/equipment to ensure all working tools/equipment are in safe and good working condition to efficiently perform warehouse operations activities.

4. Support cycle count activity to detect stock discrepancies (system quantity against physical material) to maintain 100% stock accuracy.

Requirements

SPM qualification. Diploma in Inventory Management and Warehousing will be an added advantage.

Minimum 3 years work experience in Warehousing industry

Possess the following Inventory Management and Warehousing skills and knowledge

Experience in handling Material Handling Equipment such as Forklift, Reach Truck and Order Picker

Good knowledge and experience in carrying out all Warehousing Operation tasks: Goods Receipt/Good Issuance, Return, Cycle Count, warehouse space planning/material re-arrangement for space optimization.

Familiar and experienced in using Warehouse ERP's such as SAP and Warehouse Management System

Familiar with Warehouse Safety and Security procedures

Good interpersonal skill, fast learner, good team player and able to adapt to changes fast

Good planning, coordination, analysing/reporting, organizing, decision making, problem solving and negotiation skills with attention to details

Good with Microsoft Office applications, ie, Excel, Word and Power Point.

Good communication skills - written and spoken inclusive of good negotiation skill and ability to carry out presentations when required
